Enhanced movement & flexibility

Beyond pain, NFR helps improve range of motion and overall movement freedom, making it ideal for anyone feeling restricted or stiff.

Rapid Relief's distinctive NFR approach

At Rapid Relief Massage Therapy, every Neurofascial Reset session is a unique blend of thorough examination and treatment. Tianna, our skilled therapist uses her hands to meticulously evaluate the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves, ensuring a truly personalized approach to your recovery.

Your NFR session: hat to expect

During an NFR session, pressure is applied to a targeted area while you perform specific, guided movements. While it may feel uncomfortable or even painful during these movements, many clients experience significant relief immediately after the first appointment. The treatment is performed over your clothes, allowing for your comfort and enabling frequent retesting to ensure efficacy.

Targeting the nervous system directly

What sets Neurofascial Reset apart is its direct focus on the nervous system, rather than just the muscles. This targeted stimulation helps to restore normal neurological function, eliminating pain at its source. This innovative method often leads to rapid and lasting improvements for a wide array of painful conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions about Massage Therapy

Do I need to undress for the treatment?

Swedish massage therapy appointments are best performed with the patients undressed and on the massage table between sheets. However, it can be performed over the clothes or over the sheets if you prefer.

Should I talk during my massage therapy appointment?

Your therapist is happy to chat during your appointment, but it is not necessary. Some patients prefer silent treatments and that is okay.

What can I expect from my first massage therapy appointment?

After you book your Swedish massage appointment, you’ll receive your health history forms by email. Please complete them before arriving so we can make the most of your massage therapy session. If you’re unable to fill them out ahead of time, just arrive about 10 minutes early and you can complete them in the clinic.

At the start of your appointment, your Registered Massage Therapist will review your health history with you and clarify any details if needed. You’ll also have time to talk about your goals for the session, areas of tension or discomfort, and ask any questions about your massage treatment. This helps ensure your Swedish massage is tailored specifically to you.

Your therapist will then step out of the room so you can undress to your comfort level and get settled on the massage table under the sheets. If you’ve booked an NFR or assisted stretching session, you will remain fully clothed. Your therapist will always knock before re-entering the room.

At the end of your massage therapy session, your therapist will leave the room again so you can get dressed in privacy. Take your time getting up from the table, as it’s normal to feel very relaxed or slightly lightheaded after a Swedish massage.
