Neurofascial Reset (NFR) is a movement based therapeutic technique that addresses the nervous system’s role in alleviating pain, tension, and restrictions in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.

Every session is a combination of examination and treatment. The therapist uses their hands to evaluate the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Painful areas are treated by combining precise tension with very specific patient movements. It may be uncomfortable during the movement phase of treatment. This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function and eliminate pain.

Clients choose NFR because of the rapid response to treatment. Treating the body at the neurological level stimulates a reprogramming of the tissue. Tight muscles relax, range of motion is restored, and pain is eliminated. This helps individuals quickly get back to normal life.

Some of the conditions that can be treated with NFR include:

Shoulder pain

Sciatica

Plantar fasciitis

The practice of assisted stretching relies on specific methodologies to enhance the flexibility and mobility of targeted muscle groups. Notably, assisted stretching is gentle and can benefit individuals of various age groups and physical abilities, including children, adults, the elderly, and those with physical limitations.

A typical session involves a comprehensive assessment of an individual's physical health. The therapist conducts a thorough analysis of the client's range of motion, flexibility, restrictions, as well as pain and discomfort levels. Personal goals are taken into account, and a tailored stretching program is devised to progressively work toward these objectives.

Assisted by a skilled stretch therapist, clients can safely and effectively achieve deeper stretches, free from the risk of injury. These sessions are fully adaptable and serve as a valuable enhancement to an individual's existing wellness regimen. Clients who engage in assisted stretching frequently report enhanced posture, relief from discomfort, reduced stress, rejuvenation, and an overall sense of well-being.
